What information do we collect about you?
We collect and process the information you provide to us when you create an account and upload content to the App. This includes technical and behavioral information about your use of the App. We also collect information about you, if you download the App and interact with the App without creating an account.
How will we use your information?
We use your information to provide you with the App, and to improve and manage it. Where it is in our rightful interest, we will use your information, among other things, to improve and develop the App, and ensure your security. In each case where we have your consent, we will use your personal information to oer you targeted advertising and promote the App with your consent.
Who do we share your information with?
We share your data with third-party service providers who help us deliver and manage the App, including cloud storage providers. We also share your information with business partners, other companies in the same group as Music Battles, content moderation services, measurement providers, advertisers and analytics providers. Where required by law, we will share your information with the competent authorities in accordance with a legally binding court order.
The personal data collected through our application is shared solely with our internal API, https://api.songsponsors.com, for the exclusive purpose of providing the services requested by the users. We do not share or disclose this information to third parties without the explicit consent of the user.
Your rights In certain circumstances, you have rights in relation to your information, these being the ARCO rights (access, rectify, cancel and oppose).
How can you modify or delete your information?
Your data can be accessed and modified through the settings section of your account.
As a user you have the right to request the correction of your personal information in the case it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete (Rectication); that it be removed from our registry or data bases when you consider it is not being used according to the principles, duties and obligations stipulated in the normative (Cancelation); as well as to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). In order to carry out such procedure it is required to send an elimination request with the account's identification data to the email ayuda@musicbattles.mx
When you request the deletion of your account, all content and information associated to it ceases to be accessible, therefore it is not possible to recover the information later. The information other users published that is related to your information will still be accessible because it does not belong to your user account.
How long will we keep your information?
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide you with the service, so that we can comply with our contractual obligations and rights in relation to the information in question. In cases where we do not need your information to provide the service to you, we will only retain it for as long as we have a legitimate business purpose to retain such data or when we are subject to a legal obligation to retain it. If necessary, we will also retain your data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
How will we notify you of any changes to this Privacy Policy?
In general, we will notify all users of any major changes to this policy through a notice in our App. However, you should check this policy regularly for changes. 1. The types of personal data we use.
We collect and use the following information: Information about your profile. You provide us with information when you register for the App, including your username, date of birth, email address, websites and/or phone number, information that you disclose in your user profile, as well as your profile picture or video.
Content and information about user behavior. We process the content you generate in the App, including the preferences you set (such as language choice), the photos and music you upload, and the comments you make ("User Content"). We collect information through surveys, contests, battles and competitions in which you participate. We also collect information about your use of the App; for example, how you relate to the App, including how you interact with the content we show you, the ads you see, music you listen to, problems encountered, votes in battles, content from your library and/or collection, and the users you follow. We also deduct your preferences, including your interests, gender and age in order to make the content stand out. We process information about our users, the likes you receive, and responses to the content you take up, in order to promote the content to other users and explore whether your profile is provided for future collaboration opportunities. If you have provided your consent, we will also use this information to provide personalized advertising services. Third-party information. You may share certain third-party data with us or, through your use of the App, we may collect such data from third parties automatically. Below is the information we receive from third parties.
Advertisers and advertising networks
We use the information we collect about you, and your interaction with the App and other third-party sites, to infer your potential interests, to provide you with more appropriate advertising. This information allows us to know the websites you have visited, the apps you have downloaded and the purchases you have made, to be able to predict what else you might be interested in the future, and to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising in our App. We collect this information through the use of cookies and similar technologies in our App, and from similar information received from third parties that are advertised on our App and whose sites you visit.
Technical information we collect about you. We automatically collect certain information about you when you use the App, even when you use the App without an account. This information includes your IP address, browsing history (which means, the content you've viewed in the App), your mobile service provider, time zone settings, the identifier for advertising purposes, and the version of the app you're using. We will also collect information about the device you are using to access the App, such as your device model, device system, network type, device ID, screen resolution, and operating system. When you sign in from multiple devices, we may use your profile information to identify their activity across all devices.
Location. We use the "Country" you select in Settings to personalize your Music Battles experience. When you use the App on a mobile device, we will collect information about your location. In certain jurisdictions, with your permission, we will collect GPS data and location information from your mobile device. If you don't want to share your precise location with us, you can turn location services through your mobile device settings.
Find other users and invite your friends. You can choose to find other users of the Application by using our "My Contacts" or "Add Friends" feature. This feature allows you to see which of your friends in your phone's contact list are already registered on the Application. It is important to note that the phone numbers of your contacts are not stored on our servers or anywhere else. We use them solely on a temporary basis to find matches within our database of registered users. Once the search is completed, we do not retain your contact information. Additionally, you can invite your contacts to join the Application via SMS or email using this feature, without storing their information.
2. Cookies
We use cookies and other similar technologies (for example: Pixels, etc.) ("Cookies") to improve your experience when using the App. Cookies are used to collect information, including your personal data. Cookies are small files that, when placed on your device, allow us to provide certain features and functionalities. For more information about cookies, please see our CookiesPolicy.
3. How do we use your personal data?
We will use the information we collect about you, in the following ways:
- In accordance with, and to perform our contract with you, we will use your information to:
- Identify you;
- Set up and operate your App account;
- Notify you of changes to our Services;
- Provide user support;
- Enforce our terms, conditions and policies;
- Manage the App, including troubleshooting;
- Customize the content you receive and provide you with specific content that may be of your interest;
- Enable you to share User Content and interact with other users; Communicate with you; and
- Fulfill any other purpose for you to provide.
- In order to comply with our legal obligations, we use your data to detect abuse, fraud and illegal activity in the App.
- In accordance with our legitimate interests in providing an effective and dynamic App, we will use your information to:
- Ensure your security and protection, including reviewing user content, messages and associated metadata in the event of a breach of our Community Guidelines and other inappropriate content;
- Ensure that content is presented in the most effective way for you and your device; Improve, promote and develop the App and promote popular issues, hashtags and campaigns in the App;
- Conduct data analysis and test the App to ensure stability and security;
- Allow you to participate in interactive features of the App;
- To allow you to socialize within the Application, for example, by enabling other users to identify you through the "My Contacts" feature, which temporarily uses the phone numbers in your contact list to find matches with registered users, without storing this information on our servers. You can also add friends using their username or first name. Additionally, we use the necessary information to verify that you are of legal age to use our Application, as required by law.

- Provide you with location-based services;
- Conduct evaluation surveys;
- Send a newsletter with relevant updates.
- In addition to the personal data mentioned above, we will not collect the following personal data considered sensitive, such as:
- Basic information;

- Racial or ethnic origin;
- Religious beliefs;
- Philosophical beliefs;
- Sexual orientation;
- Political opinions;
- If you are a member of any political, professional or commercial association;

- Criminal record.
4. How do we share your personal data?
We share your data with the following selected third parties:
Social Media
If you choose to share content on social media platforms, the video, battle, username, and accompanying text will be shared on that platform or, if you share it through instant message platforms such as WhatsApp, a link to the content will be shared.
Service providers
We provide information and content to service providers that support our business, such as cloud service providers and content moderation service providers, to ensure that the App is a safe place.
Analysis providers
We use analytics providers to assist us in optimizing and improving the App. Our third-party analytics providers also help us deliver targeted advertising (if you have chosen to receive personalized advertising from us and/or our partners). Advertisers and advertising networks
We share information with advertisers and third-party measurement companies to show how many and which users of the App have viewed or clicked on an ad. We share your device ID with measurement companies so we can associate your in-App activity with your activity on other websites; We then use this information to show you ads that may be of interest to you.
Our business group
We may also share your information with other members, aliates or aliates of our business group, to provide the App, including its improvement and optimization, prevention of illegal use and support to users.

7. The security of your personal data

10. Complaints
In the event that you wish to le a complaint about how you process your personal information, please send us a message as soon as possible to ayuda@musicbattles.mx and we will do our best to respond to your request as soon as possible. 11. Changes
In general, we will notify all users of any material changes to this policy, through a notice provided through the App. However, you should check this policy regularly for changes.
